Hawk may not be the main character or leader of The Seven Deadly Sins, but he is always there to make us laugh if the tension in the anime gets too high. Hawk is here as a comic relief, he doesn't have a major storyline but he is one of the best characters.

Story:
Nothing is known about Meliodas' origins. It is also unknown how old he really is, since he always looks like a boy. It is known that he was born on July 25th and is supposedly a demon.
Meliodas was the leader of the Holy Knights in the kingdom of Danafor. He was so strong that he never used a weapon for fear of killing innocents.
One day, the soldiers caught a spy from an enemy state named Liz. The girl was sentenced to death and could have died if not for the brave “boy”. Meliodas stood up for the girl, after which she began to live in his house, being “attacked” by a hero who loved to feel women’s breasts. Later, Liz and Meliodas became lovers. Meliodas promised that he would always protect Danafor and Liz, but failed. His love was killed, and Danafor was completely destroyed. Many believed that it was the captain who destroyed the kingdom in anger, since his essence was partly demonic. These events became the Dragon Sin for Meliodos.

When the 7 deadly sins had not yet been formed, Meliodas met the giantess Diana, whom he treated as completely normal. Because of the captain's kindness, Diana fell in love with him and followed him.

8TH PLACE — ZELDRIS
Zeldris is one of the elite warriors of the demon clan, and their leader, serving directly to the Demon King himself. Each of the members of the ten received one or another commandment, this power is absolute and can work even against its owner, but only his own can affect the bearer of the commandment; the commandment of other demons will not work on him. Zeldris is one of the strongest demons with masterful fencing skills, and combined with some abilities, he can resist opponents with a higher level of power and even defeat them.
7TH PLACE – MAEL
Mael is one of the elite warriors of the goddess clan, and the first in strength among them. Ban himself understood that he was weak, because he could not help his friend. However, having been sent to Purgatory in search of Meliodas' Emotions, Ban slowly but surely began to adapt to the harsh conditions of life in Purgatory: for the first hundred years he was burned to the bones - and came back to life, frozen through - and came back to life, rotted alive - and came back to life. By noon, no one in the world is able to compete with him in strength, but by evening Escanor again turns into a pitiful semblance of himself.
