As a result, many of the heroes in the first season remained defective. Fortunately, in the second season this drawback is eliminated in every possible way. Firstly, a very small number of significant new characters appear in Nanatsu no Taizai: Imashime no Fukkatsu - mostly antagonists, which we’ll talk about below. Secondly, most of the main characters have at least two or three episodes dedicated to them, in which they are the central characters. Thirdly, it is on the highest quality characters of the first season that attention is concentrated in the second.

So, a lot of time is devoted to Ban , who, in my opinion, is the best character in the title. Yes, the type of bad guy in modern realities can hardly be called original, but Ban is written so competently and charismatically that you begin to believe in his existence and enjoy every minute of his screen time. Other good characters like Merlin or Gowther also do not stand aside and get their moment of fame. Of the characters I liked less, I’ll probably name Meliodas , who was still an annoying, self-confident dwarf with wild strength; Elizabeth , who acts as a fanservice doll for shouting Meliodas' name, which makes up eighty percent of her speech; as well as King and Diana - because wretched amnesia , for which there is no reasonable explanation, again interfered with the development of their personalities. Of course, this is purely a personal opinion, but in the case of the characters listed above, I would have preferred something less formulaic and more unexpected. If we talk about new characters, then things are going very well with them. This makes Nanatsu no Taizai: Imashime no Fukkatsu positively different from some Fairy Tail , where each arc looks the same - good heroes meet an evil bunch of antagonists, are paired off in random order, and then beat each other up for several episodes while the protagonists The last effort of will will not defeat the vile enemy.
