A great choice for those who enjoy zero-to-hero stories, weak protagonists find themselves empowered with each quest they complete. Dragonball
The manga has become a "gateway" for millions of people around the world, fifth place may seem rather low for the epic story of Goku and his various enemies turned friends over the years. It will certainly remain a legend no matter what, with many infamous moments like Yamcha lying in a crater or Vegeta unlocking Goku's power levels for the first time.
In the 23rd episode of Dragon Ball Z, Yamcha sacrificed himself to protect the Earth.
Vast Ocean
Do you like sports anime and manga? Then you'll like "Ocean" too. It's sort of a sports manga series, but it's all about swimming. Only this is not some kind of “Free Style”, this is a completely different thing. And the creators did a great job of making the swimming look really good in black and white.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba
With the explosive popularity the series has enjoyed this year, Demon Slayer only reaching second place is probably the biggest surprise of this election. The story of a boy who learns to fight demons in an attempt to save his own demon sister has broken sales records in both movie theaters and bookstores, but has yet to take the number one spot in people's hearts and minds... yet.
Fullmetal Alchemist
Another very famous manga, on which the anime of the same name was based. In short, the main characters - two brothers - decided to resurrect their dead mother using alchemy. And what could go wrong for children who don’t really know how to control these powers? Half of the older man's body became mechanical, and the younger one found himself completely locked in armor from head to toe. And now the brothers have a long way to go to correct the situation and regain their bodies.
Detective Conan
Certainly a classic among countless manga works. Shinichi Kudo, a high school student with an amazing talent for detective work, is known for solving several difficult cases. One day he was caught by members of the Black Organization, the bandits injected him with an experimental drug created by their criminal organization, and left him for dead. However, to his own surprise, Shinichi lives to see another day, but now in the body of a seven-year-old child.
That's great, sure, but I think the only thing holding him back is that despite solving literally hundreds of cases, Conan still can't figure out his own. Not to mention, if this long-running series had run in real time ( first episode January 19, 1994) , he would have reached his age of 17 again, and then beyond.
Berserk
Action and/or fantasy fans will enjoy this, but the first few volumes can be quite difficult to read as the art is a bit dated and the plot moves very slowly. But it's definitely worth the wait.
Historical manga with notes of fantasy and epic. The plot centers on the stories of the cruel and powerful mercenary Guts and the legendary leader of the Falcons, Griffiths.
One Piece. Big jackpot
Having just celebrated its 1000th chapter, this sprawling adventure saga of super-powered pirates is starting to make The Lord of the Rings look like See Spot Run in terms of scale and length.
It seems fair that One Piece beat out the super popular Demon Slayer and has stood the test of time .
And Nami's victory means that One Piece has completely won the competition, managing to get three places in the top ten "buffers"! This is simply incredible.
One Piece, of course, is one of the favorite anime of all time, which unfortunately has the awkward element of many of its female characters being incredibly (and unrealistically) well-endowed by nature. Now some dissatisfied people have begun to claim that Snatch has become sexist due to the excessively protruding parts of women's bodies.
Whenever Snatch author Eiichiro Oda is asked why he draws women this way, he usually answers something like, “Because I like it.”

TOP 5 manga according to Kimura Takuya
Actor and singer Kimura Takuya recently shared his personal list of the top 5 manga. This happened on Takuya's called "Kikmura Saaaaan!" , on TOKYO FM .
With many people in Japan now confined to their homes due to the spread of COVID-19, they are faced with difficult choices about what to do with themselves, which was one of the main reasons why Takuya made his recommendations.

One Piece
One of Takuya's was, of course, One Piece . It has long been known that Takuya is a huge fan of the publication, and was even drawn by series creator Oda Eichiro for a special issue of the men's magazine NON-NO.
However, those new to the world of One Piece will be in for a long read. The manga currently has 96 volumes, and those hoping to save time with the anime series won't be out of luck either, as there are over 925 episodes produced so far!
History of Japan
He also called “History of Japan” (Nihon no Rekishi), which tells, in fact, the history of Japan, but in a comic form. Reading manga and studying the past at the same time is a worthy activity for a studious homebody!

After the death of his father, he is responsible for the maintenance of his loved ones. Unfortunately, one terrible day the entire family was killed by a demon, leaving only Tanjiro and his sister Nezuko alive. The wounded Nezuko also begins to turn into evil spirits, but still retains human emotions and reason. Tanjiro teams up with a demon slayer named Giyu to help his sister and avenge his family.
